Sportifi app for iPhone and iPad

WHAT IS SPORTIFI?
Sportifi is a new social network specifically built to support youth sports communities. It is being launched in January 2020 with its first version for high school sports teams in the greater Boston MA area. It will be available more broadly shortly into the new year.

WHO DID WE BUILD IT FOR?
Sportifi was built by - and for - fans of youth sports. Athletes and Teams - and the Fans who support them - will now have an easy, fun way to enhance the community around their sport.
Share the experience of the game with the whole fan-base, whether they can make the game or not.
MOBILE ONLY TO START.
Sportifi will be a mobile-only app to start. We want to encourage every fan and athlete to share their experiences from the game, build the community and enhance every youth sports event. Do your part to help the folks who couldn’t make the game feel as though they were there!

ATHLETES AND TEAM PROFILES
Athletes are encouraged to sign-up and build their profiles so that their Fans can find them. Initially, Sportifi will build Team profiles and each Team’s schedule of upcoming events. Ultimately, Teams will have the ability to build and maintain their own profile.

AGE RESTRICTION
Athletes or Fans must be nine (9) years old or older to use Sportifi.

Search and follow the Athletes and Teams that you care about. Join the community that supports our young athletes as they grow and compete in the sports that they love.

CHECK IN TO THE GAME AND SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Check-in to each event – whether you are there or not – and follow along with all the action as Fans and Athletes share pics, videos and comments about the game!

This is our core mission – and one that we take very seriously. Sports can bring together communities and inspire passion among athletes and fans in a very special way. We want this to be a positive experience for our young athletes and highly encourage positivity and goodwill from all parties. Sportifi will work diligently to encourage this aspect of the service and remove negative or mean-spirited content. But ultimately, it is the Community that will work to make this an uplifting experience for all involved.

Sportifi is launching in January 2020 in a fairly limited format. We welcome all constructive feedback and criticism – we really want to hear from our early users about what they like, don’t like and want to see added to the app going forward.
